...and, special thanks to Eric Ireland, David Mercer, and the Tallgrass Fillm Association, for playing such a big part in our campaign!

After much deliberation, Fisch Haus' 501(c)3 not-for-profit arm, Fisch Bowl, Inc., has decided to take an ambitious developmental step forward, towards an increasingly sustainable organizational structure.  Our board has isolated the three conditions that must be met if we are to begin this process:

  1. The employment of at least a part-time director’s assistant.  The current volunteer director will be out of the country in 2013, and Fisch Haus would like to be able to continue its programming schedule throughout that time.

  2. A thorough upgrade of the power and lighting services in our gallery space, in order to make it possible for this director to produce events independently of overseeing by a Fisch Haus resident.

  3. ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance, both in restrooms and general access.

Therefore, we have begun a large-scale fundraising campaign, seeking both financial and in-kind donations.  We have been much inspired by our 21 year anniversary celebration this past spring at the Ulrich Museum of Art, and would love to be able to use that momentum to propel us to the next level!
